Fucking tough shit.
My head hurts. I have only studied today after working with my teacher for five hours. Still, my spanish is poor. But I have to keep trying to learn it. I can't wait to dream in the language! People say that when you dream in another language, it is a good indicator of becoming more fluent. Although I had to look up some of these words in order to write this paragraph, it is an accomplishment.

Past 5 days and the next 8 or 9
so last written thing i said was in Xela and about the volcano...i stayed in Xela until Friday and then went with an australian girl i met to the lake (lago de atitlan) it took all day and we arrived at a small village pueblo called san pedro la laguna it was rad..i stayed there for a few days..very hippie lotsa gringos and funny guatemalans. the lake is beautiful despite all the fucking trash in it and yeah we partied a little and i made a friend with this guy from new york, mike. so yeah after lara and i parted ways i headed for antigua yesterday. it took most of the day and i got in and decided to talk to a director of a spanish school. now instead of just staying in a hostel for a couple nights i have paid and committed to a 9 day stint in antigua learning spanish and living with a guatemalan family. its nice they are nice the food is good and i get three meals a day included with my 4.5 hours of spanish a day. i am here till the 30th giving me only 2 weeks to get to costa rica! so im gonna drive right through el salvador and honduras into nicaragua. probably spend 3 days to a week there in managua and grenada and then get to costa rica with only a week left to spare...not really my intention but whatever my spanish will be way better. so anyhow thats an update. oh yeah i live with three other students two swiss german peeps a couple and another australian girl. they are nice and quirky. right now i am in a cool hippie/hipster/gringo cafe with free wi-fi. so yeah we dont have internet and my updates will not be as frequent. for now, i have to practice my spanish and memorize some new vocabulary.

Volcan Santa Maria
I ascended a volcano in Guatemala with some people I met and a local guide last night. We walked through the night and caught the sunrise on top. The weather was dismal, cloudy cold and rainy bnut it was still a blast. I am really tired today having not slept..I think I am leaving Xela, the town I have been in for three days, on Saturday to head for the lake. Sleep on some hammocks hit the water have some fun whatever..yeah so Guatemala is great thus far, could see myself living here and working teaching english or guitar or something. Anyhow Im gonna watch some Star Trek and take it easy tonight. Maybe go out maybe not. its raining pretty hard every night pretty much. Good thing I went to Central America during their winter. W00t! ok bye.

Rain
It really is the rainy season here in chilly mountainous chiapas. i am heading for guatemala tomorrow. i am excited for a new place..though it may not seem much at all different. been watching the world cup here its interesting. never watched futbol before. Im going to head over to some girls house to meet up with friends hope it will be fun. im really starting to like this place a lot san cristobal de las casas..but now its time to keep going. i could see myself living here in the future..maybe just writing poetry and playing music live at night in the bars. hmm well maybe not. either way this place has a charm my favorite in mexico for sure. seeing how i have not visited northern mexico or the yucatan peninsula that doesnt say much..but alas..on to Central!

estoy impaciente
I am getting weary of staying in one spot.
I have to be here for another week to finish my classes.
I want to join my friend Nick in some new adventures.
I am in need of pursuing a strict and vigorous change.
I am aware of it again. I am sparked. It is not here where I need be.
All this I shit has got to go.
What are you doing?
What are we doing?
No mames, wey. Chingon, cabron. Voy a salir esta ciudad pronto.

Clases se espanol
So I got a teacher but only for 15 hours..I will try and make the best of it..Seeing as it is for right now, I am going to be in Chiapas for probably two more weeks. I like it here so thats fine. Actually if I can get a job teaching English here..which is possible I will do that...it will only pay like 5000-6000 pesos a month...like 500 bucks so i dont know because i would have to commit to a year or something...but otherwise I will continue my trip and probably go to school in Guatemala for a month. I think I am going to come back to Flagstaff around my birthday as of right now...I guess there is no reason to speculate since I dont have plans nor want to make any.
Junio
I am going downtown today to see about finding a private teacher for Spanish..also I am going to go to one of the schools and see about taking some classes. It rained almost all day yesterday and hard. Today is sunny and beautiful. Well, I hope today brings wonderful surprises.
